REALIFE are a u.k hip hop duo consisting of two members “Bleu (MR.Bleu/MR.B) Jonhson” and “Simon (JUSTHOUGHTS) Chisholm-Byrne”. originating from east London the two met while studying at church mead school in leyton they went on too become best friends and also atteneted the same secondary school. By the time they left school they had been freinds for almost ten years. The pair always had a passion for music/entertainment and had always experimented with both for fun and had friends and family all around who where heavily involved in the grime scene but after leaving school and trying to persue careers in different fields which where not successful.
they began too take music seriously in 2006/07 after developing rap skills whilst freestyling for their own entertainment and realising they both had raw talent, they began writing songs together. They then created the name REALIFE and decided to buy studio equipment putting down songs in their bedrooms. Aswell as many studios around east London. During this time they featured on various u.k music dvd’s such as rapastrology which a few thousand copies were distributed in the u.k and America, mayhem.tv dvd which sold over five thousand copies anfeatured a lot of big u.k artists, they also featured in the cut magazine which was a free magazine which featured artists such as the cool kids, ndubz, lioness, princess nya aswell as many others and was very popular.
As time went on REALIFE realized it was time to take their music to the next level and had been recording a lot of original music during 07,08 working with producers such as skitzbeatz, and angry the music man amongst many others. Whilst learning and developing there knowledge of the music industry and trying to plan a way to get there music where it needed to be, in 2009 they began assembling an official project which they didn’t release because they believed they hadn’t made enough music available for there fans and decided they were going to make a promo mixtape to give away for free to build there following and awareness, they began recording a eighteen track mixtape called THE CLIMB in January 2010 and released the project for free by March 2010 along with four internet videos which received coverage from a lot of popular underground websites such as grimedaily.com, wordonroad.tv, lockdown records, wegoingin.com, mediamassacre.com, hoodtapes.co.uk, spifftv, hiphopchronicles.com, raggs.co.uk, and received around five thousand downloads in all.
since then they have been recording more music and realy taking there music and sound to a different dimension and are ready to release a whole catalougue of music in 2011 currently they are beginning to promote the forthcoming E.P “NOTHING TO LOSE” and have released another free download project “THIS IS REALIFE” on the internet for extra promo to build the buzz along with videos on youtube which have been supported by various blogsites helping the project receive over ten thousand downloads within just over a month. now they are begining to build the campaign for the "NOTHING TO LOSE E.P" via the internet blogsites, radio, magazines etc as the campaigned builds we expect the e.p to recieve good coverage and open alot of ears keep it locked to REALIFEDUO.COM and keep up to date THANKYOU TO ALL OUR FOLLOWERS SUPPORTERS FAMILY;)
